A Bayesian Data Fusion Approach to Spatio-Temporal Fusion of Remotely Sensed Images
Remote sensing provides rich sources of data for the monitoring of land surface dynamics. However, single-sensor systems are constrained from providing spatially high-resolution images with high revisit frequency due to the inherent sensor design limitation. To obtain images high in both spatial and temporal resolutions, a number of image fusion algorithms, such as spatial and temporal adaptive...
متن کاملAn Integrated Framework for the Spatio-Temporal-Spectral Fusion of Remote Sensing Images
Remote sensing satellite sensors feature a tradeoff between the spatial, temporal, and spectral resolutions. In this paper, we propose an integrated framework for the spatio–temporal– spectral fusion of remote sensing images. There are two main advantages of the proposed integrated fusion framework: it can accomplish different kinds of fusion tasks, such as multiview spatial fusion, spatio–spec...
متن کاملPatch-Based Label Fusion with Spatio-Temporal Graph Cuts for Cardiac MR Images
A patch-based method is proposed for cardiac MR image sequence segmentation, combined with the graph cuts algorithm to guarantee spatio-temporal smoothness of the segmentation. It was tested on the challenge training set with 83 subjects and achieved an average Dice metric of 0.792 for the myocardium.
متن کاملSpatio-temporal data fusion in cerebral angiography
This thesis provides a framework for generating the previously unobtained high resolution time sequences of 3D images that show the dynamics of cerebral blood flow. These sequences allow image feedback during medical procedures that can facilitate the detection and observation of stenosis, aneurysms, and clots. The 3D time series is constructed by fusing together a single static 3D image with o...
متن کاملSpatio-temporal diffusion of dynamic PET images.
Positron emission tomography (PET) images are corrupted by noise. This is especially true in dynamic PET imaging where short frames are required to capture the peak of activity concentration after the radiotracer injection. High noise results in a possible bias in quantification, as the compartmental models used to estimate the kinetic parameters are sensitive to noise. This paper describes a n...
